Plant a ‘seed of truth’: grow a sunflower for Bradley Manning.
CODEPINK Kansas has initiated a collaborative political art project for all called Plant Seeds of Truth – Free Bradley Manning!
As part of solidarity actions that took place both nationally and internationally during Bradley’s April 24-26 pre-trial hearings at Fort Meade, and in continuation of the spirit of Earth Day, we are giving out packets of Sunflower seeds with a message, for planting this spring… The finished project will coincide with Manning’s court martial. And sometime during his court martial, some of us from Kansas plan to travel with the project to Fort Meade to install it there.
Instructions
Plant a few sunflower seeds. If you don’t have any seeds, please email wiseupforbm@yahoo.com with your address and we’ll send you a packet.
When the plants are a couple of inches tall, take a photo.
When they bloom, take another photo.
Email both photos, along with details of where you live, to:
priticodepink@gmail.com.
Follow the progress of this project at the Plant Seeds of Truth website.
