London Solidarity with Manning & Assange: Report

17 October 2012, LondonVigil for Bradley Manning at US embassy

As Bradley Manning was once again brought before a military tribunal at Ft. Meade, Maryland USA, around 30 activists staged a solidarity vigil for Bradley Manning at the US embassy in London before proceeding down to the Ecuadorian embassy to offer solidarity to Julian Assange.

Armed diplomatic police briefly detained and questioned 2 activists for taking photos at the U.S. embassy where speeches, updates and reflections were shared. Outside the Ecuadoran embassy WikiLeaks staff greeted activists and embassy staff signaled appreciation and took photos of the solidarity demonstration.
