Stand With Bradley At This Crucial Time
The Bradley Manning Support Network has called another International Day of Action for Brad on Saturday July 27. Brad’s trial has been moving on apace and timescales may change, but with the final summing up and sentencing scheduled over the next two weeks, it is likely that July 27 will coincide with the ruling in the case.
Be seen, be heard, showing solidarity for Brad, in whatever way you can.
Here are some events that we’ve heard about:
London (1)
Where and when
St Martin in the Fields, London, WC2N 4JJ (Trafalgar Square) 14:00 – 16:00.

Description
Peaceful vigil. Supporters of Bradley gathering to continue pressure on AI to give public support to Bradley, including prisoner of conscience status.
It is worth noting the three recent statements issued by Amnesty – at the start of the trial, after the prosecution case on ‘Aiding the Enemy charge‘ and on this week’s ruling not to dismiss ‘Aiding the Enemy’, which they described as a ‘travesty of justice’.
Alongside comments made here by Widney Brown, senior director of international law and policy for AI, it appears that the recent, concerted and continuing attempts to force AI to speak up are having an effect, and people are working hard to obtain a bolder stance from them.
