Imagine if your son or daughter was thousands of miles away, locked up for years for following their conscience. Helping Chelsea’s family in Wales with the cost of prison visits is one way we can do something practical at home to support her in jail in the U.S.

The devastating consequences of having a family member a political prisoner/prisoner of conscience in the U.S. shouldn’t be underestimated. Please consider making a donation or raising funds to support the Wales-based Manning family to visit Chelsea (formerly Bradley) Manning, jailed for 35 years for exposing war crimes and lies.

We now have a dedicated bank account for this purpose. We are working on a website that will be able to take online donations. In the meantime, you can send a cheque or make a payment directly from your own bank account (this doesn’t incur any charges and 100% of all donations made by cheque or direct bank transfer will go to the family).

We are presently fund raising to cover the costs of Chelsea’s aunt and uncle visiting next February with £465 already handed over.
