Many Thanks to Ciaron O’Reilly reporting from Dublin.
Watch the video (10 mins) with Harry Browne speaking at Dublin Solidarity with Irish War Resisters & WikiLeaks Julian Assange.
Approx 40 folks gathered in Dublin last Wednesday (Feb 21st.) in solidarity with Colm Roddy & Dave Donnellan awaiting trial for anti-war resistance at Shannon Airport in March 2016 and Julian Assange detained for over 7 years without charge in London.
Dave and Colm shared fresh insights into their long trail through the courts (14 appearances thus far/ next one in Ennis March 12th.) for confronting ongoing Irish complicity at Shannon Airport in U.S. wars expanding & escalating across the Middle East.
Tom & Alberto, who have helped to sustain an ongoing solidarity vigil with WikiLeaks & Julian Assange outside the Ecuadorian embassy Knightsbridge/ London for over 5 years, travelled to join us. They shared on the Latin American solidarity, asylum and hospitality offered to Julian from the government and people of Ecuador.
Ciaron O’Reilly shared on Julian as a prisoner, a person and an Australian.
The “(Chelsea) Manning Street Preachers” (see photo below with Paul O’Toole, the Roj Light, Joe Black, Imogen Gunnar & Robbie Robbie Synott) interspersed the reflections with music and song and played on into the evening.
