Dear friends in the struggle to free Julian Assange!
Here are planned actions for the upcoming week commencing Monday the 1st of July 2019.
Monday 1st of July 10:30am
Join us in support of the efforts of investigative journalist Stefania Maurizi to unlock the facts of the Julian Assange case through her Freedom Of Information litigation against the UK government. She requests original documents. We shall attend peacefully the tribunal which is open to the public. Please arrive 10 minutes early, at reception and proceed to the relevant room as advised by reception. A photograph will be taken during break outside the building with our Free Assange Banners.

Tuesday 2nd of July 7pm
Attend the “Julian Assange: The Debate” panel discussion where outspoken critics of WikiLeaks and Julian Assange will debate his friend Vaughan Smith at Frontline club.

Wednesday 3rd of July is Julian Assange’s 48th B-day
- Some supporters will go to Belmarsh independently, with candles or without. Our organised celebration for Julian’s Birthday is with a protest in Trafalgar Square on Saturday.

The committee is open to all progressive, socialist and left-wing individuals and organizations seeking to prevent his extradition to the United States by a corrupt British legal system, where he faces charges under the Espionage Act carrying a collective sentence of 175 years and a possible death sentence.

Saturday 6th of July 2pm
Our protest against the US persecution of Julian Assange continues at Trafalgar Square marking his 48th Birthday (3rd of July). This action coincides with London Pride and so there is no better timing to remember the sacrifices that Chelsea Manning, currently incarcerated for refusing to testify against Julian Assange at the WikiLeaks US Grand Jury and honour her principled stand.
