Upcoming Solidarity Actions for Julian Assange of WikiLeaks July August 2020

Belmarsh Vigil for Julian Assange 49 Birthday Friday 3rd July 2020 from 12 to 7pm

We have Emry’s Prison Soul Singing leading supporters choir with musicians and guitarists in support. Banners, balloons, cake, candles, info stall for letter writing to Julian and a warm welcome for all those who come. Please share on social media this week.

Belmarsh Vigil for Julian Assange Saturdays 12 to 3pm

Join local residents in solidarity with Julian Assange. Social Distancing rules apply. For the 25th of July please bring Yellow ribbons, in solidarity to political prisoner Julian Assange to decorate the trees outside Belmarsh. Address: Western Way, London SE28 OEB Pick up a pack of the new flyers, an amazing booklet by @SomersetBean to mark Julian Assange spending one year in Belmarsh.

Candles4Assange Saturdays 3-6pm

Join our regular solidarity activists at Piccadilly Circus in solidarity with Julian Assange. Banners, Posters, Flyers, Chanting, informing the passers by about developments in the case. Help us build up the mass movement needed to Free the WikiLeaks Publisher from the clutches of Belmarsh prison.

Charing Cross Charing Cross (on the Bakerloo and Northern lines) is the closest Tube station, with an entrance/exit towards Trafalgar Square. The following stations are within a few minutes’ walk: Leicester Square (Northern and Piccadilly lines) Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo and Piccadilly lines)

Administrative Court Hearing Westminster Magistrates Court 27/7/20 10am

It is extremely important supporters attend and witness proceedings at court every time there is a court hearing.

JADC Organising Meeting Regents Park 27/2/20 around 12 noon

Straight after the Court hearing. From Baker Street to the nearest entrance of Regents Park, turn right, cross the iron bridge, turn left 200 metres is the Bandstand.
