On Thursday 25th of March Parliament passed the new Covid Lockdown Legislation. After months of effectively banning political protest the government has returned to its senses and the political exception applies! We return to the streets with solidarity vigils on three locations on the 11th of April 2021 to mark two years from the violation of Julian Assange’s political asylum, his arbitrary arrest, conviction of bail violation and imprisonment at Maximum security Belmarsh prison where he remains today two years later.
Join our Protests as and when you can on the 11th of April. We shall be at 11:30-12:00 outside the Ecuadorian Embassy, at 1-1:30 pm outside Westminster magistrates Court and 3-4pm outside Belmarsh prison. We shall be tracing Julian Assange’s steps on that day when the UK violated every possible Human Rights standard it pretends to hold dear.
