There is not a moment to lose in creating political debate within the political world about such an important issue shaping the quality of our democracy in the years to come. To the Home Office Minister Priti Patel, Prime Minister Boris Johnson we say: “We invite you to take up your responsibilities”.
JADC is bringing the struggle to Free WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange in the heart of British politics with a solidarity vigil outside the Houses of Parliament. We shall meet Parliamentarians on their way out of Parliament after they attend Prime Minister’s question time, as well as administrators, political analysts, the entire social group that supports the Houses of Parliament as they go about their business and draw their attention to our cause. Our new banners, paper masks, posters, flyers look fantastic, all thanks to the support of dozens of WikiLeaks supporters in Britain and around the world and the designs of Somerset Bean and Derek Jardine.
Join us for four Wednesdays in June between 1-3 in the afternoon to lobby the political world to Free Julian Assange.Don’t miss this great opportunity to take meaningful political action.

This is a good idea. Now the decision is not in the courts, but with the Home Secretary, MPs are allowed to raise the case of Julian Assange in Parliament, and they should, before it is too late and Julian dies. He has already suffered a mini stroke in prison and doctors fear it is a precursor to a full-on stroke. This is the result of 10 years of relentless persecution, smearing and public mobbing (something all of us should be ashamed of). If he dies in prison, here or in the US, the UK will have played a major part in his murder. All UK MPs should act urgently to avoid this and the stain it will bring to the UK reputation for justice and Human Rights.
