4th Anniversary: Julian Assange arrested by UK for Publishing on behalf of America’s DOJ
We return to the streets with solidarity vigils on three locations on Sunday the 16th of April 2023 to mark four years from the violation of Julian Assange’s political asylum, his arbitrary arrest, conviction of bail violation and imprisonment at Maximum security Belmarsh prison where he remains today four years later. His violent arrest on 11th of April 2023 shook the world as an assault on journalists worldwide.
Join our Protests as and when you can on the 16th of April. We shall be at 10:30-12:00 outside the Ecuadorian Embassy, at 12:30-2:00 pm outside Westminster magistrates Court and 3:30-5pm outside Belmarsh prison. We shall be tracing Julian Assange’s steps on that day when the UK violated every possible Human Rights standard it pretends to hold dear. Join us!
We have hired a coach to facilitate transport from one location to the next if you are interested in joining all three events please contact email@example.com to book your space. Please consider donating £15 towards the cost of the coach hire to be collected on the day, or through our fundraiser here:
